World Language

Students should not have to forfeit the benefits of exposure to a second language because of a learning difference.
The same creative, stimulating, research-based programs and techniques that are used to support students in English, social studies, science, and math have proven to be successful for students learning a foreign language. Because the nuances of a foreign language can only be fully understood in the context of the cultures that speak the language, Jemicy integrates ancient Roman and Hispanic culture with language instruction.


Two (2) consecutive years of either Latin or Spanish are required for graduation.
An internationally recognized leader in educating talented and bright students with dyslexia or other related language-based learning differences.
